- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley.
- Lay the salmon fillets skin side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush them with the olive oil and herb mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with optional lemon slices or extra parsley before serving.
Notes
For crispy edges, use the broiler during the last 2 minutes of baking while keeping a close eye. You can meal prep this by baking multiple fillets and storing them in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
